We are so happy to be sharing Shay and Taylor’s beautiful Stoneridge Wedding Film! Their wedding is the kick off to weddings at The Prescott Club at Stoneridge in Prescott, Arizona. Nestled in the foothills of the Bradshaw Mountains in Prescott Valley, the Prescott Club at StoneRidge offers such a romantic and peaceful backdrop. The best spot for Shay and Taylor to say I do!
How did Shay & Taylor Meet?
Shay and Taylor met in 2009 at a freshman luau mixer on move in day at Arizona State University. Taylor saw Shay and decided to introduce himself. They then found out they were going to be living in the same dorm building only a floor apart so they exchanged numbers. This led to the start of Shay and Taylor’s relationship a few months later.
Togetherness & Understanding
Shay and Taylor described their relationship in two words, togetherness and understanding. Over the last nine years, they have grown together both individually and as a couple. They love to experiencing new things and making life decisions for themselves together. Through the years, they gained an understanding for one another. They can accept each other for who they are and who they are not. Understanding the goals they have as individuals and together as a couple is why these two words describe their relationship perfectly.
Shay Said YES!
Taylor and Shay planned a last minute trip to Seattle, Washington as a end of summer vacation. What she thought was going to be four days in the city turned into one and then Taylor surprising her with a flight to Victoria, Canada on a sea plane. Once there, they asked the visitors center what to do and they said their main attraction is The Butchart Gardens. Taylor had already planned to take Shay there but acted like he didn’t know about it and only wanted to go Whale Watching (don’t worry, they did that to!). They took the bus to the Gardens and as they were walking through Shay suggested they take their “Christmas card photo” here because it was so pretty. They ended up finding a spot to take a photo and Taylor asked one of the gardeners trimming the hedges to take a photo of them. As they were taking photos, Taylor turned Shay around to face him, got down on one knee, and proposed. Shay of course said YES!
Shay and Taylor’s love story is one of a kind. Their very own fairytale. We are so happy to have been apart of their wedding day. We hope you enjoy their love story as much as we do. Congrats to Shay and Taylor!
