Jennifer and Cy’s wedding at Granby Ranch in Colorado was both romantic and regal in tone. Despite several sporadic downpours throughout the week, the clouds parted for Jennifer and Cy’s special day. Nestled in a secluded mountain valley with sweeping views from Winter Park to Grand Lake. Granby Ranch is the ideal setting for an intimate Rocky Mountain wedding and it was nothing short of perfect.

Jennifer’s gorgeous wedding dress was a strapless mermaid silhouetted gown with ruching at the bottom. Her lovely hair was worn down in beautiful waves. A mid-length tiered veil completed her elegant look.  What a beautiful bride! Although, not being a huge fan of wearing a tux and jacket.. Cy was looking very handsome sporting a gray tux and authentic Vans.

While getting ready, they set aside some quiet moments to exchange lovely, meaningful love notes and gifts.  As they sat alone reading their cards, they were each filled with such emotion. Their gifts to each other were unique to their personalities and absolutely perfect.

Jennifer’s father got his first look at his beautiful daughter, a momentous moment captured on film by Jodi Mackenzie with everlastingcinema.com.  The couple decided not to have a first look before the ceremony, making their first sight of each other at their ceremony the ‘big moment’!

Guests were transported by chairlift to the magnificent summit of Vista Ridge for the ceremony, surrounded by the peaks of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, tucked away in an aspen grove. Check out Cy’s face… there was no hiding his excitement and joy over seeing Jennifer walk through the beautiful aspen trees and down the isle.

After they recited their vows  and were pronounced ‘husband and wife’, the wedding party moved downhill where they all had so much fun posing for formal (and facetious!) photos for Kevin and Tina with Sierra Blanco Photography.

Their reception took place slope-side at the Base Lodge. With it’s elegant yet relaxed atmosphere it was the perfect setting. Some of the highlights included candle-lit tables, beautiful flower arrangements, cocktail hour, and a photo booth.

The evening was full of fun, love, and dancing. It was clear to see how much Jennifer and Cy’s friends and family love and admire them and how important they are in the lives of Jennifer and Cy as well. As Phoenix wedding videographers, it was a wonderful experience to escape the desert’s summer heat and take part in Jennifer and Cy’s special day.
